My experience in public health includes developing community-based programs to increase access to health education and healthcare services. In addition, I have successfully secured grant funds to support program development and implementation in the different roles I have had in public health. I have research and practice interests in program evaluation, telehealth implementation and evaluation, and building collaborative relationships to enhance health programs.
I have used my expertise in evaluation to develop processes for a community led organizations focusing on reducing health inequities and building community-led initiatives. I have gained experience in leadership, particularly focused on public health initiatives, through participation in opportunities across Kansas.
