TRC Skills matrix
The National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers (NCTRC) is composed of the 14 federally funded Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) that collectively provide comprehensive, unbiased information, education, and technical assistance to support the advancement of telehealth across the United States and its territories. Twelve regional TRCs serve communities throughout the nation, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the affiliated Pacific Islands. In addition, two national TRCs provide specialized expertise—one focused on telehealth technology assessment and the other on telehealth policy—both offering services nationwide.
This Skills Matrix highlights the breadth of expertise available across the 14 TRCs. It is intended to assist healthcare organizations, partners, and other stakeholders in identifying TRCs with subject matter expertise in specific telehealth topics, clinical specialties, and areas of telehealth implementation.
The matrix is organized into three sections: a TRC Directory, Telehealth Skill Areas, and Clinical Telehealth Specialties. Together, these sections provide an overview of the diverse technical assistance and subject matter expertise available through the TRCs to support telehealth planning, implementation, and expansion efforts.
